I worked with two Read Write Poem prompts this week. The first was to include hyperlinks in a poem. The second was to use words from a Wordle diagram. I used mosaic and carve. The hyperlinks (in gray type) lead to new parts of a mosaic poem which are tucked here and there in the blog.
Mosaic
With the arc of its hull,
an overturned boat
carves out a space
beneath the bay trees.

How much fun was that! Although it might be nice if the last link leads to the fully constructed poem…
Good idea, Clint. There is now a link to the whole poem in the kitten section.
Yep. that works.
It’s hard to get a sense of how lyrical this poem is as your traverse the pieces :~)
Very nice. As I was reading, I hoped to be able to see the full poem at the end. It was a lovely finale. Thanks!
Nice little poem, and subtle use of the hyperlinks.
Thanks for all of your comments. My thoughts about hyperlinked poetry boiled down to this. It is time-consuming to put together, and it is distracting to read. I am not sure what it adds.
