Laughing Dove Poetry

Here is a poem inspired by the new Read Write Poem prompt, Sunset. I am attempting to use a variation of the long Japanese form called chōka.
Let a Boat Rest Here
Paint me as a boat
or paint me as the clear pond
upon which I float.
Let the paint peel from the boat.
Obscure its mooring.
Paint me as a [...]
